• Lachhu

    Lachhu always had the passion in cooking. After moving to Canberra for a public service job, opportunity at Curtin to start up a restaurant came up and teamed up with Ben and started the adventure. Travel has been his hobby, and to fulfill the dream in the sector, Lachhu has now started "The Buddha Odyssey" where packages to Nepal are available. The idea is to expand the travel business to regional Himalayan region like Tibet, Bhutan and India in coming days.
  • Ben

    Ben had moved to Canberra not 6 months before starting The Hungry Buddha. Originally moving from Wollongong as part of a Graduate Program in the Public Serivce. Upon meeting Lachhu they both clicked and decided to do something besides government work. Years on Ben is still passionate about Web Design, but the Buddha always comes first.
  • Raju

    Raju has recently moved to Australia to help run The Hungry Buddha and also launch his Nepalese treking business. Raju has decades of experience in the mountains of Nepal. He is going to start by running 4 trip per year. Passionate about cycling, you might catch Raju up Mt Stromlo or powering around Lake Burley Griffin.

    Bishesh started at the hungry buddha couple of months ago, and has really proven his worth. He is outgoing and attentive to detail. He has been a real asset and we look to have him for a long haul.

    Kitchen magician
    Amin first graced The Hungry Buddha with his presence near the beginning of our journey. He has always been there with the undeniable skill to make stuff happen. Together we have built, crafted, managed The Hungry Buddha into the restaurant it is today. He is also a keen fisherman and if he calls in sick, you know he is down in Batesman Bay...but that is alright.
